Area a permanenza limitata (ZTC)
ZTC (Controlled Traffic Zone) is temporarily suspended - until new communication – following ENAC Ordinance n. 3 of 31/03/2020
What is ZTC (Controlled Traffic Zone)
Ge.S.A.C., together with ENAC, Municipality of Naples and Local Police Command, has implemented a computerized system of airport traffic management that allows passengers and/ or accompanying persons to transit for 10 minutes with their car in the areas immediately in front of the terminal.
The area is of free access to all users and is managed by a camera system that electronically detects the time taken to enter and exit the airport.
From the moment of access to the airport, you have "10 minutes" to accompany and/ or welcome the passenger and exit. Beyond this maximum time allowed (10 min.) the administrative penalties provided for by Law No.33 of 22 March 2012. will be applied, The revenues, deriving from the payment of the administrative penalties, will go totally to the Municipality of Naples.
For stops longer than 10 minutes, you can use one of Naples Airport car parks, in particular P1 where the first 45 minutes are free.
By accessing any of our parking spaces, you exit the ZTC area and the time counting is reset and the 10-minute timer will reactivate on exit from the parking lot.
Warning: to exit the ZTC IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to make a reverse at the first roundabout because the exit from the ZTC is not registered. It occurs only passing under the dedicated portals, as reported.
Monitoring and detection of license plate
The passage and transit time of vehicles entering and leaving the ZTC will be scanned by digital clocks and recorded with cameras, installed at the entrance, in all parking lots and other areas, both in and out of Naples airport.
These devices are connected directly to the operational centre of the Municipal Police (administrative penalties management service) for the verification of access and time spent in the above areas, and to proceed, in case of exceeding the time limit (10 min.) to the automatic detection of administrative violations that establish the payment of a fine from 38 to 155 euros for mopeds and motorcycles on two wheels and from 80 to 318 euros for other vehicles (Law 22 March 2012 n.33).
The revenues, deriving from the payment of the fines, will go totally to the Municipality of Naples.
PRM passengers (Passengers with Reduced Mobility), have 40 free parking spaces reserved at the Parking Multipiano,. They can also use the parking space nearby "Sala Amica", located outside the departure area, by communicating in advance your data and parking details by filling in the online form with your details.
