Rapid antigenic test

Rapid antigenic test available at the Pharmacy located on the 1st floor of the terminal, before security checks, Monday to Friday, from 09.00 to 20.00. The test result is available in approx. 10-15 min time and can be requested in both in Italian and English. Furthermore, a text will sent within 24-48 hours to your mob phone. Free access although reservation is recommended at +39-081-7803652.
Please reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure.

Flights to United Kingdom and Northern Iraland

Specific rules for people travelling to England

All passengers must have proof of a negative coronavirus (COVID-19) test to travel to United Kingdom. As requested by the British Authorities, the test will only be accepted in English, Spanish or French language.

Flights to France

Passengers travelling to France are required to show on boarding the negative result of a molecular test carried out 72 hours before departure.

Flights to Germany

Passengers travelling to Germany, including transit passengers,  must register online on, undergo  a molecular or antigenic test to be carried out by means of a swab, with negative result, 48h BEFORE entering Germany (otherwise boarding will be denied),  with results written in English, German or French, (crew and children under the age of 6 are exempt) and have to respect 10 days of quarantine. Such period of isolation may be interrupted in the event of a negative result to a swab, which may  be carried out only from the fifth day after entry into the country.

Flights to Netherlands

Passengers travelling to Netherlands must have an antigenic test carried out not longer  than 4 hours before departure.This is in addition to a molecular test, carried out by means of a swab, with negative result,  72h before the arrival to Netherlands. Such measures also apply to passengers flying to Carribbean areas of Netherlands, Diplomatic officials and of international organizations are not subject to the double test requirement.
Additionally, passengers must go through 10 days of quarantine upon arrival. After five days they can perform a molecular test. If the result is negative, they can terminate the quarantine.

Flights to Switzerland

Passengers travelling to Switzerland must register online on,  undergo  a molecular or antigenic test to be carried out by means of a swab, with negative result, 72h  before entering Switzerland and have to respect 10 days of quarantine. Such period of isolation may be interrupted starting from day 7 in case of a negative molecular or antigenic test, at passenger's own expense.

Travelling within the national territory

All passengers flying to national destinations are invited to submit the self-declaration at security check point.

Until the 30th April self-certification is required for any travel within the national territory.

Passengers arriving from foreign countries

According to new DPCM (Prime Minister Decree),starting from 06.03.202I, all passengers arriving from abroad must show , at boarding, a negative certification of antigenic or molecular test, carried out by means of a swab within 48 hours prior to entry into Italy.

We invite you to fill out the interactive questionnaire on the website for all the information you need to travel or returning from abroad.

From 7th to 30th of April all passengers that have stayed or transited, in the 14 days previous entering Italy, in one or more EU countries, United Kingdom and Norther Ireland included, must, regardless the result of the test carried out, undergo health surveillance and a quarantine for 5 days upon notification of their entry into the Italian territory to the prevention department of the local health authority. At the end of the quarantine, a further molecular or antigenic test is required.
